Munich, January 12, 2021. Norbert Wögler (52) has been named the new CEO of Isaria München Projektentwicklungs GmbH. He will replace Dirk Steinbach (52), who will step down from the management board in January 2021 as planned to pursue other activities within the Deutsche Wohnen Group. Wögler will lead Isaria together with David Christmann, speaker of the management board.
A real-estate economist and architect, Wögler joined Isaria’s predecessor company Isaria Wohnbau AG as head of Project Development in November 2017 and has over 15 years of experience in real estate. Before joining Isaria, he led project development at GVG and H’Group, among others.
Isaria specializes in the development of city districts and sustainable buildings in urban areas. From the time of acquisition through to the construction phase, all projects undergo sustainability analyses as a matter of routine. The goal when doing this is always to develop livable urban districts while conserving resources, for example on the MD paper factory site in Dachau, where up to 1,000 apartments are to be built in the coming years. Isaria is a company which is part of the Berlin-based Deutsche Wohnen Group.
